Known for their distinctive voice and deeply personal songwriting, Jordan crafts songs that explore relationships, power, love, grief, and transformation with equal parts vulnerability and joy. Following the release of their acclaimed 2023 EP Sing to the Moon, Jordan continues to captivate audiences with a sound that is ethereal, funky, introspective, and unmistakably their own. Jordans most recent release PERFECT BE THE ENEMY, came out this spring.Bassist and luthier Martin Masakowski is a New Orleans-born musician whose wide-ranging influences span jazz, folk, classical, Eastern European, Indian, and experimental music. A graduate of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, the University of New Orleans, and the Rotterdam Conservatory in The Netherlands, Masakowski has performed throughout Europe and beyond, drawing inspiration from diverse musical traditions. Now based in New Orleans, he is known for his adventurous approach to the double bass, innovative instrument design, and dynamic performances at venues and festivals across the city.Jordan and Masakowski join forces for this special performance.Doors: 4:00 pmShow: 4:30 - 6 pmSnug Harbor Jazz Bistro presents live weekly concerts.
